English: Initially groomed under the guidance of his father Late Pt. Badri Pasad, a renowned court musician of the former principal state of Raigarh, Madhya Pradesh. Later he was under the tutelage of none other than legendary artist Ustad Bade Gulam Ali Khan Saheb of Patiala gharana.Under the tutelage of both these guru’s panditji enriched his repertoire in both Classical and semi-classical music. Today he is one such artist who sings Khayal and Thumri both with equal command.Panditji was associated with Sangeet Research Academy, later he joined Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwa Vidyalaya as a music reader. He is a member All India Radio Audition Board, Delhi.
