English: Philippine Air Force - Gold Wings Badge
The Badge is a Philippine Eagle spreadng its wings with a relief of the Philippine Republic superimposed on it. It is in GOLD which symbolizes command. A Star encircled by laurel leaves sit atop the badge symbolizing the bearer as a veteran combat pilot.
English: This is awarded by the Commanding General, PAF to PAF officers, pilots, Chief of States and Chief of Air Force of friendly foreign nations under the following categories:
Category I - Designated Commanding General/Officer or higher.
Category II - Attains the rank of Brigadier General or higher.
Category III - Permanent Colonel who has been designated or has held at least aggregate total of one year or combination of the positions: Vice Commander, PAF; Chief of Air Staff Chief of a Coordinating Air Staff at HPAF level; and Commander of a combat wing.
Category IV - A pilot must have attained of total 6,000 flying hours.
