Tableau représentant une scène de la vie quotidienne des parisiens pendant l’hiver de 1607-1608, appelé le « Grand Hiver », qui dura de la mi-décembre 1607 à la mi-mars 1608 et au cours duquel la Seine fut gelée pendant plusieurs semaines. Sur ce tableau figurent, à gauche, l’ancienne tour de Nesle érigée sous Philippe Auguste, et à droite, la tour du Bois de l’enceinte de Charles V ; derrière cette dernière apparaît la grande galerie construite à la fin du XVIe siècle. |
