DescriptionOxford Radcliffe Camera Palestinian olive tree encampment 3.jpg
English: Photograph of an olive tree planted by Palestinian solidarity activists on the front lawn of Oxford University's Radcliffe Camera, Radcliffe Square, Oxford, England.
It was planted by during the 2024 University of Oxford pro-Palestinian campus occupations. The activists setup an encampment on the lawn of the Oxford Natural History Museum in May 2024 and later established a second encampment on the lawn of the Radcliffe Camera.
Olive trees are a symbol of Palestinian culture.
This tree was later uprooted and destroyed by Oxford University staff after evicting the Palestinian solidarity activists from the encampment.
