Summary

Description Bulgarians beheaded by Ottoman troops during the Bulgarian Crisis of 1885-1888, when the Principality of Bulgaria attempted to annex the Ottoman-controlled autonomous province of Eastern Rumelia. (Note: Erroneously (sic) uploaded to a Greek lobbying website "greece.org" as "photos of the Great Fire of Smyrna in 1922", which is incorrect.)
