English: Ørvur is a wooden Faroese rowboat from Tórshavn, it is a so-called 8-mannafar, for eight rowers and one person to steer the boat. This photo was taken just before the race of Joansoka in Tvøroyri. Here they are warming up. They became number two in this race.
