The Oregon Voters' Pamphlet for the November 2010 general election arrived in the mail today. There are 199 pages of information on the candidates and ballot measures.
This is an important election year, maybe more important than we might think. Up on the ballot are Federal offices for Senator and Representatives; State offices for Governor, State legislature positions, State treasurer. Many city council positions are on the ballot for several cities. And maybe one of the most important races is for the presidency of Metro, our three county agency.
