Summary

Description
English: This is the 500 years old Durga Temple, situated in Ramnagar, Varanasi.
[COMMENT - This temple was actually commissioned by Raja Chet Singh and completed by Udit Narayan and his successor in the late 18th century. One of many sources for this is Philip Lutgedorf's book _The Life of a Text: Performing the Ramcaritmanas of Tulsidas_ (University of California Press, 1991), p. 265. If you look, you will find many others in both primary and secondary scholarly texts.]
