English: Old botanic garden Long, long ago, the New Museums Site was the home of the University of Cambridge's first botanic garden. Eventually, the University built the Cavendish Laboratory on the site, and the garden moved out to its current site, but this small patch of garden has been planted by the garden's staff with plants representative of the stock of the original botanic garden.
