Summary

Description
English: The Old Bassein Creek Railway Bridge over the Vasai Creek. This bridge would connect the City to mainland on the Western railway, before being decommissioned in 1983. It was then replaced by newer bridges, ones which are still in use till date.The bridge system consisted of two bridges, they being North and south of the Panju Island. Work on this bridge had begun in 1920, and completed in around 1927.
