Description
English: Central Fire Station, Vine Street, Manchester, NH; from a 1907 postcard. Occupied in 1858 by Pennacook Hose Company No. 1, the station was rebuilt in 1864. Between 1912 and 1913, the original 2 story section was replaced with a 3 story section. The building was razed in 1971 when the new Central Fire Station was built on Merrimack Street.
