English: Original caption:1926-One of the largest oil fields in the world, over which wars have been threatened and yet may be fought, is in Russia, near Baku, on the Caspian Sea, where the wells are being worked by the Red Government. Here is a general view of a portion of the fields from inshore looking out towards the sea.
