English: EX-L&Y 0-6-0 saddle-tank at Low Moor Locomotive Depot.
No. 11429 was an L&Y 2F 0-6-0T built by Barton Wright c. 1890 as an 0-6-0 tender engine, soon rebuilt by Aspinall as a saddle-tank and eventually withdrawn as BR 51429 in 5/61, after ending its days as a Horwich Works shunter. Low Moor Depot (code 25F) had an allocation in 1946 of 39:- 12 4-6-0, 6 4-4-0, 2 2-6-0, 12 0-6-0 and 7 2-4-2T - but no 0-6-0T.
