Summary

Description
English: Atomic number densities for the elements at STP fall into monatomic gas (~2.7×1019/cc), diatomic gas, and condensed phase levels (~5×1022/cc). Here I think the plot uses NIST's value for standard temperature 25[°C] and pressure 101.325[kPa]. The IUPAC's standard is instead a temperature of 0[°C] and an absolute pressure of 100[kPa]. I think that Bromine and Mercury are the only two elemental liquids at STP, and these plot in much the same location as the many more solid condensed phases. Note that all noble gases are monatomic, but all other elemental gases are di-atomic at STP.
