Design Constructed using OSM administrative boundaries and tracing the Northern lines described by Henry V. Poor in Poor's Manual of Railroads, 1874–75 (for the connection between the Merrimac and Connecticut Rivers Railroad and the Sugar River Railroad) and Poor's Manual of Railroads, 1888 (for all other railroads) using the following georeferenced USGS topographic maps in GeoTIFF format (accessed using TopoView):

Projection: Albers Equal Area Conic Projection with standard parallels 29.5°N and 45.5°N, reference latitude 43.6856509°N, reference longitude 71.5775914°W.
