Summary

Description
English: Taken in Carrington, N.D., in February 1948. My grandfather was station agent there with the Northern Pacific Railway. That's him in the overcoat & fedora. The locomotive is a 4-6-2 Pacific (NP 2223), built by Alco in 1910 and scrapped in 1957.
