Summary
| Description |
Passing the Town House. Northern Constabulary Community Pipe Band paraded through the streets of Inverness City Centre en route to the opening night of Inverness Tattoo. The parade commenced at Eastgate (where a brief performance brought out the tourists in numbers), then through High Street and past Inverness Town Hall, over the Ness Bridge and along the riverside to the Northern Meeting Park. Unfortunately the rain,which has dominated the local weather these past few days, returned intermittently but thankfully was not very heavy. As ever Northern Constabulary Traffic Wardens performed a superb job in traffic management, and the Band was also escorted by police vans front and rear. |
