DescriptionNorth End, Seaton Ross - geograph.org.uk - 1367950.jpg
English: North End, Seaton Ross, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The white structure sticking out of the house in the centre of the shot is a 12 foot diameter sundial. A sundial enthusiast, William Watson (1784?-1857) erected it. His epitaph in the village churchyard is: "At this church I so often/With pleasure die call/That I made a sundial/Upon the church wall." More local sundial fun at 178442.
