DescriptionNorth Connel railway station (site), Argyll and Bute (geograph 5394390).jpg
English: North Connel railway station (site), Argyll and Bute Opened in 1904 on the Callander & Oban Railway's branch line from Connel Ferry to Ballachulish, this short single-platform station closed in 1966. It was situated roughly where the motor-cyclists are.
View south towards the Connel bridge and Connel Ferry. The bridge carried both road and rail traffic until 1966. Following closure of the line, a new road was built along the course of the old railway (but the bridge is only wide enough for one-directional traffic at a time).
