Summary

Description
English: Illustration for Big Bang to explain:
We know that stellar redshifts are not the result of an explosion because if we had been thrown from such an explosion, they and the cosmic background radiation would both be different than what we observe. We know we are not in the center of such an explosion because we can tell that the background radiation was warmer long ago in other galaxies.

The point is the yellow and red stars are about the same distance and they have different shifts, which is not what we observe. If someone can think of a better way to illustrate this, please do.
