Summary

Description The building in this photograph is the Shin'yosha (神輿舎) in the inner courtyard at Toshogu, Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Yomeimon is ahead to the left (out of view). The building normally houses three mikoshi, but these were carried out of the shrine in the Procession of a Thousand Warriors.
