Description
Ursula Holbech (1840-1925) married baron Hans Joost Wilhelm Dahlerup in 1869. He died in 1876, and Ursula Dahlerup then became an inventor and industrialist in order to support her family. The painting was made by her father, Niels Peter Holbech, who also portrayed Hans Joost Dahlerup.
