Summary

Description
English: The pictures were taken some 14 years apart, with in the meantime maybe some restoration. A booklet by the ministry of culture and tourism mentions that the province has many churches, that are all of a similar architecture: basilica's of a simple design, with three naves, three apses, a half-open narthex, a sloping roof and made of chiselled stone. This one is called the Prodromos. I think in this case that will refer to John the Baptist (the forerunner).
