| Description | U.S. Navy Captain William R. Flanagan, Commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CVA-64) and Vice Admiral William F. Bringle, Commander of the Seventh Fleet, shake hands with President and Madame Nguyen Van Thieu as they depart after a visit aboard ship in the South China Sea on 10 July 1968. In the background is the second production Grumman C-2A Greyhound (BuNo 148148), which was assigned to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron VRC-50 Foo Dogs. It was finally retired to the AMARC as 1C0005 on 19 June 1987. | |||
