Summary
DescriptionNext Stop Sign (3976736460).jpg |
TransLink (or at least Coast Mountain Bus Company) uses init for their ITS. The next stop sign appears to be the PIDmobil. Procedure: 1. Pull cord activates the same "bell" heard on pretty much every New Flyer. 2. Prior to each stop, a hammer hits an anvil and a computerized female voice announces the stop. Every stop is announced. 3. Regardless of whether or not a stop was requested, when any of the door(s) open the stop requested bell sounds twice in succession. Interestingly, this is not a staged photo. With a shot of "Main St" you'd think it would be. |
