English: Newpark railway station (site), Lothian, 2016 Opened in 1869 by the Caledonian Railway on the line from Glasgow to Edinburgh via Shotts, this station closed in 1959.
View north east towards Livingston South and Edinburgh, some 3 years before the railway line was electrified. No trace of the two platforms remain, which were immediately below the viewpoint. From old maps, a couple of sidings used to be to the far left.
