New Village or the Model Village, is a 102 house estate built between 1914-16 for miners of the New Ingleton Colliery. The 34,623 sqyd plot was purchased for 757UKP. The estate company was finances under the Public Works Loan Act (1875) and the Housing of the Working Classes Act of 1890.
