English: NSWR W Thow Class Z20 (ex-Class A/E) 2-6-4T No.2029 at Trainworks, the New South Wales Railway Museum, Thirlmere, 31 March 2016. 12 were built in 1890-91 by Beyer Peacock as a tank version of the Class Z19 (ex-Class A93) 0-6-0 for coal traffic, although they were later used on suburban passenger, branch lines and even shunting. 7 more were built by NSWR Eveleigh in 1911. In addition, 14 Class Z19's were rebuilt to Z20's in 1902-10. 7 were sold to industry in the 1930's. The remaining NSWR locos were withdrawn in 1930-72.
