Summary

Description

Does anyone know why these colored lights are on the capitol tonight? Not only does our state capitol look like an enormous phallic symbol, it is now patriotic as well.

This shot was taken from directly across the street, using both timer and tripod. (I wish it wasn't slightly crooked.) I wonder if I would have noticed the colors, if not enjoying a leisurely commute home by bicycle? So here's to learning to take a slower pace.  :)

You can learn more about our capitol's history at www.capitol.org/. And please join us for December's LincolnFlickr Photowalk as we explore this very building!
