Description
English: Pyramid-like shapes are common on Mars. On the Earth, they are often formed by glaciers that surround mountain tops. Mars used to have glaciers and ice caps in the past; hence, they may have formed in a similar manner. This is part of a picture that was named HiRISE picture of the day.
