Summary
[edit]I took this picture on 2006-04-15 in the Smithsonian National Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C. This rock is one of the oldest bits of evidence of the first life (about 3.5 to 3.8 billion years ago). The hollowed-out dome-like cavity is apparently a signature of life.
