DescriptionNational Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in September 2019.jpg
English: The altar of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in Williamsburg, Virginia in September 2019, prior to the 2020 renovations. The renovations included moving the screen and statue of Our Lady of Walsingham forward, a new altar, installing a permanent tabernacle behind the altar, repainting the ceiling blue, and replacing tiling. This renovation, following the 2019 installation of two bathrooms, was one of many major alterations to the Shrine that has occurred since its construction in 1932 as Saint Bede Catholic Church.
