Summary

Description
English: Name-board at Hope Exchange High Level, 1948
This is on the ex-GCR, former Wrexham, Mold & Connah's Quay Railway, Wrexham - Bidston, Seacombe line, a purely interchange station with no proper external access (or tickets), with the ex-LNWR Chester - Mold - Denbigh line - on the lower level. Both the High and the Low Level platforms were closed 1/9/58 and the Chester (Mold Junction)- Denbigh - Ruthin passenger services from 30/4/62, freight lingering on until 1/3/65. (The two gentlemen are the railway authors W.A. Camwell and E.C. Russell - although which is which I am not sure).
