Deutsch: Das Bild zeigt den Nachbau der Wetterfahne der Potsdamer Garnisonkirche, vor der Vollendung des dritten Bauwerks. Sie ist noch nicht am Turm angebracht, sondern wird durch einen Käfig geschützt neben dem Potsdamer Rechenzentrum an der Breiten Straße ausgestellt. Die Wetterfahne zeigt die preußischen Herrschaftssymbole Krone und Schwarzer Adler. Der Käfig steht auf einem Betonfundament an dessen Vorderseite in Großbuchstaben "GARNISONKIRCHE" steht.
English: The image shows the reconstructed weather vane of Garnisonkirche ("Garrison Church") in Potsdam, before the third church has been finished. The vane is not yet fixed to the tower, instead it is presented in front of Rechenzentrum Potsdam ("Computing Center Potsdam") at Breite Strasse and protected by a cage. It shows the regal signs of Prussia, crown and black eagle. The cage stands on a base made of concrete, which bears the inscription in capital letters "GARNISONKIRCHE" on its front. |
