Description
Deutsch: Innenansicht des Lenox Yard aus dem Jahre 1904. Dieser fungierte bis in die 1960er Jahre als Hauptwerkstatt der Interborough Rapid Transit Company und späteren IRT Division. Er befand sich zwischen der 148. und 149. Straße in Harlem und bestand aus einer dreiteiligen Halle nebst Abstellanlage. Heute steht an dieser Stelle der Endbahnhof der Linie 3, Harlem–148. Straße.
English: Interior view of Lenox Yard, New York City Subway, in 1904. This yard served as the main repair and overhaul facility of the Interborough Rapid Transit Company subway system and later the IRT Division. It was located between 148th and 149th Street in Harlem. There was a shed consisting of three adjacent bays among several layup tracks. Today this site is occupied by the "Harlem–148th Street" terminal of the "3" service.
