Description
English: NWA 4231 meteorite fragment, 2.9 cm across, cut & polished surface. Classified as ureilite (olivine-pyroxene achondrite meteorite). The yellowish-greenish-brownish crystals are olivine; the very dark crystals are pyroxene.
Français : Fragment de l'uréilite NWA 4231 (section polie, largeur = 2,9 cm) ; les cristaux verdâtres ou orangés sont des olivines, et les cristaux très sombres des pyroxenes.
