DescriptionNP-GK-05 Gorkha Museum (Tallo Durbar) 2.jpg
English: A view of Tallo Durbar (the Lower Palace) at Gorkha Bazaar from Raniban forest. Tallo Durbar (the Lower Palace) is a Malla style palace built in the reign of King Rajendra Bikram Shah. The palace currently houses the Gorkha Museum in the heart of the old urban settlement surrounding Thulo Aagan (Large Courtyard) in the district headquarters of Gorkha. The palace was formerly used as an office complex for the headquarters administrative works. The complex with the museum and a park is a key tourist attraction in Gorkha bazaar. The uphill walk to Gorkha Durbar (the old royal palace of King Prithvi Narayan Shah), Gorakhkali (Kalika) Temple, and Gorakhnath Temple begins from here.
