English: Photo is a close-up of the breech of a French-made 4-pounder Gribeauval cannon at Battery 5 at Chalmette National Battlefield. The inscription at the bottom reads PARIS Nivose An 2 (21 December 1793-19 January 1794). Inscribed at the sides are Perier and Freres (Perier Brothers).
