Description
English: New Orleans: City Hall Anex building on Canal Street, Mid-City; vacant since the area was flooded following the Hurricane Katrina levee failure disaster of 2005. Structure was originally built in 1952 as Pan American Life Insurance Building, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, architects. The same architects designed the 1980 Pan American Life Building at 601 Poydras Street.
