English: A new version of NOAA View was released on July 30 with a new interface and a significant data addition, Suomi NPP VIIRS daily global True Color satellite imagery. NOAA View's new features include the ability to capture regional images at multiple resolutions, export images as PNG and Google Earth files, share links to data sets or exact dates and zoom in on a particular image, change displayed data units from metric to U.S. and export images for the NOAA Science on a Sphere®. This image from NOAA View shows the western hemisphere from the Suomi NPP satellite's VIIRS instrument on July 29, 2014. |
