Summary

Description
English: Taken from the VIIRS instrument on the NOAA-20 satellite, this true color satellite image of the Contiguous United States was taken on August 29, 2021. This satellite image shows severe weather occurring across the country on that day, wildfires in out west mainly in California. Also in this image Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana, and lastly your average everyday summer thunderstorms occurring across the country.
