Description
English: NH505 winds between clay monoliths, on the left bank of the Spiti River, upstream from Tabo towards Kaza, Spiti, Himachal, India. In 1871, A.F.P. Harcourt, Asst. Commissioner, Kullu Division in "The Himalayan Districts of Kooloo, Lahoul and Spiti" pg.29 reported that the road "runs under enormous clay pillars". Elev. 3,400m (11,154'). 18 Jun 2018.
