English: NGC281, popularly the 'Pacman Nebula', imaged using a Skywatcher 130P-DS and astro-modded Canon 450D DSLR on an EQ3 mount in a suburban location.
This image is typical of the results now being achieved by amateur astronomers using inexpensive equipment. It consists of the best of 112 two-minute subs, unguided, using an EQ3 mount, stacked using Deep Sky Stacker 4 and processed using Astra Image 4.0 and Photoshop CS2.
