Français : Stamnos attique à figures rouges, don de la famille Kyriazis, probablement trouvé dans une tombe de Marathon où il était utilisé comme urne funéraire. Premier enlèvement d'Hélène, par Thésée : Thésée mène Hélène au chariot préparé par Pirithoos. La sœur d'Hélène, Phoibe, assiste à son départ à droite. Au dessus des figures sont peintes en blanc les inscriptions (presque entièrement effacées) correspondant à leur nom : Thésée, Hélène, Peiri(th)os, Phoiba. Œuvre du peintre Polygnote, vers 430-420 a. C. Musée archéologique national, Athènes, n°18063.
