The GameShark Pro is a cheating device made just for the N64 console gaming system. Instead of the game cartridge, it is inserted first and the game cartridge is then put on top of the GameShark. This is done so the GameShark can intercept the messages between the N64 and game. This way, values can be changed and things such as invincible health are possible. By stopping the message that says to reduce health by 40 points, health is maintained as a constant level.
