Mycena albidocapillaris Grgur. & T.W. May

Image location: Victoria, Australia

A species usually found on discarded fern stipes of the tree fern Dicksonia antarctica which inhabits wet gullies. It is often seen in numbers and possesses fine Rhizomorphs. Cap to 3mm and stems can be elongated. Seen at Mt Macedon.
