Description
English: Mwami Nyamugira Mukogabwe II, who ruled over Bafuliiru Chiefdom in Nia Magira (Lemera) during the colonial period in Congo Belge in 1925, holds a significant place in the ancestral lineage of the present Mwami of Bafuliiru, Ndare III Simba Kalingishi Adams. Mwami Nyamugira Mukogabwe II’s leadership and legacy have played a role in shaping the historical and cultural heritage of the Bafuliiru people.

Mwami Nyamugira Mukogabwe II raided many cattle from Banyarwanda but later gave them permission to settle in Mulenge and Lemera.

Over time and through generations, the family line of Mwami Nyamugira Mukogabwe II has persevered, resulting in Ndare III Simba Kalingishi Adams becoming the current Mwami of Bafuliiru. Holding the position of Mwami entails a great deal of accountability, as it involves representing the customs, principles, and dreams of the Bafuliiru people.
