English: Civic Museums of Treviso - Venetian sculptor, 1559-1560 - Istrian stone
Figure mutilates the famous fountain commissioned in 1559 by the mayor Alvise Da Ponte and completed the following year. She was placed in a niche at the base of the Praetorian Palace, the face of the Calmaggiore at the corner of the square. The water came from Cagnan, taken from 'Ponte de Pria' 'through' 'roda mata'. The age-old tradition, celebrating the inauguration of each new mayor of Venice, vouliat that for three days the breasts of this fountain, offer citizens of white and red wine. She disappeared in the fall of the Serenissima (1797). At the end of the nineteenth century, she was found and recovered by Father Luigi Bailo founded the Museum of Treviso. A modern copy (1989) is now in the courtyard between the street and Podesta gallery of Strada Romana .

Figure mutile la célèbre fontaine commandée en 1559 par le maire Alvise Da Ponte et terminée l'année suivante. Elle était placée dans une niche à la base du Palais Prétorien, face à la à la Calmaggiore, à l'angle de la place. L'eau provenait du Cagnan, prélevé à Ponte de Pria à travers une roda mata. La tradition séculaire, célébrant l'entrée en fonction de chaque nouveau maire de Venise, vouliat que pendant trois jours les seins de cette fontaine, offrent aux citoyens de vin blanc et rouge. Elle disparue à à la chute de la Sérénissime (1797). A la fin de la XIXe siècle, elle a été retrouvée et récupérée par l'abbé Luigi Bailo fondateur du Musée de Trevise. Une copie moderne (1989) se trouve maintenant dans la cour entre la ruelle Podesta et galerie de la Strada Romana.

Figura mutila della famosa fontana ordinata nel 1559 dal podestà Alvise Da Ponte e completata l’anno seguente. Era collocata in una nicchia alla base del Palazzo Pretorio, rivolta al Calmaggiore, presso l’anglo con la Piazze. La alimentava l’acqua del Cagnan, sollevata al Ponte de Pria mediante una roda mata. Per secolare consuetudine, celebrando l’ingresso in carica di ogni nuovo podestà veneto, per tre giorni I seni di questa Fontana offrivano ai cittadini vino bianco e rosso. Rimossa alla caduta della Serenissima (1797), alla fine dell’ Ottocento questa figura fu ritrovata e recuperate d’all’abate Luigi Bailo. Una copia moderna (1989) è oggi collocate nel cortiletto tra vicolo del Podestà e Galleria della Strada Romana.
