Description
English: The Munitions Building, located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. near the Lincoln Memorial, was a temporary structure built during World War I. The building remained in use for several decades, and the Secretary of War was headquartered in the Munitions Building from 1939 until the Pentagon opened in 1943.
