Summary

Description
English: The 'Pygmy' Elephant Bird (my unofficial common name for it) (Mullerornis modestus) was a large species of ratite that is known from the Pleistocene and Holocene epoch of Madagascar. Mullerornis was substantially smaller than Aepyornis ssp. Some unofficial sources claim a height ~1.5 m (= 5.0 ft). The weight is estimated at 80 kg (= ~176 lbs).
